I would recommend, to anyone, beginning your career as a teacher. The discipline, humility and passion required to be an effective educator have molded me into the professional I am today.

Sure, writing copy, slinging socks, directing photoshoots, penning press releases, repping at tradeshows, desigining graphics, segmenting audiences, and slicing up Photoshop files for email marketing has made an impact too.

Working for a manufacturer has also shifted my perspective on clothing, in both its origin and its futures.

I refuse to take steps in my life that feel worn in, borrowed, prescribed. I am a miner for new perspective. I am always seeking someone or something to change my mind. At once a rock and a piece of clay.
